I asked JCPenney to reverse a late fee and they would not. I never use this card and only opened it because I was buying some chairs last year and wanted the extra percent off.

I know it was my decision to open it but it was a mistake. First of all they charged me incorrectly on that purchase and didn't even give me the discount off of the chairs. Then when I went back to get the discount they could not credit my card but gave me a gift card. Like I said I don't usually shop here and didn't use the card until a year later when I bought something for my college kid.

I had a discount coupon at this time and they would not let me use it because I was using a gift card.....what a stupid rule.

Then I had forgotten that I had charged anything on the card and missed the due date by 6 days because I was on vacation.

So basically the 50 dollar credit I get back for the discount of the chairs, I spent in a late fee. Wont be shopping here anymore.
