I bought a mattress on July 16 2017, I was assured the mattress would be arriving around August 2nd and I would hear from the delivery company. The 2nd came and went so I checked the website and it just said shipped. I waited until 8/6/17 to call and get update. I called the number listed and automated service said I had a 77 min wait and they would call me back, which they did however, they said it was the wrong department and put me though, I had another 70 min wait and they called me back. I asked her to please take my number in case we would be disconnected. I was put on wait and I got disconnected I tried to call back but it was another 60 min wait. She did call me back and said she had tried to track my mattress and even called the delivery company 3 times and could not get through. She said they were probably closed, I asked her to call me on Monday, she could not do that I had to call her. Monday morning I started calling the same number, I was told there would be 90 min wait, I got the call back and the automated call said I was next in line and I would be answered in 3 mins. 15 minutes later I hung up. While this was happening I tried over and over to "chat call" on the website, it kept coming back "busy try again later". I was running out of time and patience. I finally got though to someone and again they said it was the wrong department, I asked for the direct number and she said they did not have it and hung up. I called corporate head quarters as by now I am desperate to talk to someone and find my mattress. Customer service assured me that they would put me straight through which they did. I asked the man who corporate put me though to over and over to please help me, he said that he did not know where the mattress was and that it might take a couple more weeks and that he could not tell me why it said it was shipped and perhaps they were still making it. I asked him if I could speak to a supervisor because we were getting nowhere and someone had to know of a way to track the mattress. He said he was the manager. I asked him why the lady the previous day had call the delivery company , he said he did not know why and they could not tell him anything anyway. I asked him to please call the delivery company. I was put on hold he came back on the line and told me that he spoke to the delivery company and they could not tell him where it was and when it would be delivered. By now I am really frustrated, I asked him again, who can I speak to and he told me "Samantha, you are not listening", and I heard his coworkers mimicking back exactly what he had said, I told him what I had heard and he said, no you did not, they are on the phone. I know what I heard. I got the number of the delivery company, I called them and they immediately gave me the date I should expect a phone call and the date of delivery, I asked her if JC Penny had called and she said no one had called and she was the only one that was taking the calls. I called JC Penney corporate and speak to the same customer service man at corporate head office in Plano and he was very apologetic of the way I had been treated and he would notify the manager, I told him that whoever I had spoken to had told me we WAS the manager, I was assured he was not the manager. Lies, wasting time, making fun of a customer. I wish I had never bought the mattress from them if this is how they treat there customers. I will never step foot in a JC Penney again I am so disgusted by the treatment. 8.19 Update, Mattress has still not arrived so I cancelled the order

Jcpenney Rockwall it's a nightmare working there the managers are very *** and they like only people who can kiss their ***. They had preference for certain employees if they don't like you they ignore you all the time. Unethical behavior from these supervisors. Never enought associates then way to much work, the all they care about how many ICA you make , and the only way they will like you if you make plenty application monthly it's ridiculous management that store management sucks. The store manager is a joke the all he want is ICA and save money to the company old guy with not class. All the managers are so lazy they doesn't work but put you doing all their work. That place sucks I don't reccomend any one to work there only if you like kiss *** thenyou can work there.

Immmm.. I don't know how to say this without coming across as rude but...

I think you might be having a mini psychotic episode. Your writing seems disjointed and erratic. If you really are being watched, you should confront the people watching you, ask them if they need any help or assistance.

If they've been "watching" you, and have been hanging around for a while, you might ask them if they're finding everything alright. Make lots of direct eye contact, but remember to smile.

I purchased two sets of dinner ware received both one broken,customer service said to return to a store to receive replacement for broken pieces, store said they could not do it because bought online,called customer service back now they want me to buy another set,send the original back ok to whom and where the CS person said to leave the box out on the front door and UPS would pick it up! Duh like how the *** will they know where its going and better yet how will anyone know who to credit the account? I'll go to Walmart [which I hate] before I ever do business with JCP again...thanks for ruining a Christmas present for me!!

Jcpenney in Dallas, Texas - Online order never fulfilled

As best I can tell from the multiple phone calls and emails to jcp, my Black Friday online order that I was notified was shipped on 12/2 was never fulfilled. I've been advised that if my order isn't delivered tomorrow I can call them and they will credit me for the original purchase and I can place the order again, subject to availability, for the original prices plus an additional 15% discount and expedited shipping. There is no reason that any customer should have to cancel an order and place it again when they already have the money and order and should just fulfill it and ship it. I've been in touch with an attorney because this practice seems to violate TX Deceptive Trade Practices Act. If my order doesn't arrive tomorrow, I just want a refund and will never do business with jcp again. This is a bad business practice and there are too many other retailers who actually care about the customers who do business with the.

Jcpenney in Dallas, Texas - Furniture delivery FAIL

I ordered a bedroom suit from JCPenney. I saw the items in store, however, the sales people were too busy to help and asked that I call to order. I placed my order by phone in May 2013. Today it is June 25 and I still have no bed or nightstands. JCPenney customer service cannot tell me when the furniture is coming. I would cancel the order BUT they have already delivered the dresser. They also charged me for a duplicate dresser and tried to deliver it. I only ordered one. So I'm still waiting for a refund as well. I call every other day and cannot find anyone that can tell me when ill get my refund for THEIR mistaken duplicated charge OR when I will get the rest of my furniture. This experience has been horrible!!!

Two things wrong with this...you ordered a full 'suite' from JCP. You went to a store to inquire about your purchase which was an'online order'.

A store can not tell you when your items are coming they are not the online drop shipment center...and you say you would cancel the order but they already delivered the dresser. ..then you lie and say you are waiting for a refund. If they sent a duplicate order -you don't get a refund for something you didn't pay for. They can't authorize a duplicate payment.

( It happens but currently, your bank would have to deny it with out a separate authorization.)

Then at the end you say you have a duplicated charge. That could have been handled through the bank. A duplicated charge can be denied through your bank and through the website customer service. It usually takes 4-7 days to deliver items unless their is a run on the stock.

If you waited that long it was either special order or you are exaggerating the wait. You could have canceled your order and gone with a separate company after a week's wait. Stuff happens but nobody waits that long. JcPenney ain't the best anymore ..If you are getting bad service - treat the stores better.

The employers would quit hiring incompetent hard hearted workers if customers would quit messing up the stores, skipping out on paying their credit bills, and talking down to the associates like they were less than human.

BTW they usualy don't take the charge out until the furniture is delivered. calling bs on this mess.

JCPenney processes are old and antiquated.I ordered custom draperies which it turned out the fabric was not available, so I cancelled that part of the order. It looks like they still billed me for the entire order. I have been trying to find out how they handled the adjustment for several weeks. The decorators do not have anything to do with billing adjustments. The schedulars are not available. So who can you help! It is impossible to find anyone who can help on a simple customer billing matter. The people are nice - which is about the only good thing I can say. Wake up Penney's - it's the 21st century! When an adjustment is made, I think the customer should receive some written document that shows clearly the amount of the adjustment. Is this too much to ask. I am tired of chasing this matter and have just decided to have credit card company bill the whole thing back to Penney's. Maybe that will get some attention!

Try calling customer service they usually can help more with billing then.in.store. in store has limited access to accounts. And you get billed when items are shipped if you order online.

Need you to bring St. John's Bay jeans back, please. These are the greatest fitting jeans ever. Need more NOW. Can't believe management made a decision to stop carrying this and other old reliable brands. Now all the clothing is "fashion". We are not all 15-30 years old. Not old, but I do like my jeans to fit (not Mom jeans, either). St. John's Bay fit my short size 8-10 stature perfectly without trying them on. Order or walk out of the store without trying on. This made for the most enjoyable shopping experience. Now, JCP has created a nightmare. No jeans fit. They are too baggy or too tight or too high in the waist. Please, please get St. John's Bay back into your inventory. I can assure you that your sales will improve just from this one smart decision. Oh, the St. John's Bay items you have in stock now are obviously last minute add ons. Please get your buyers to think quality as well as price!
