THE STORE MANAGER AND THE SALES ASSOCIATE WERE VERY HELPFUL I GAVE 5 STARS EACH FOR THEM. THE BLACK FRIDAY SALE AD NEVER STATED THE AMOUNT - IT READ $200 JCPENNEY VISA CARD WHEN YOU PURCHASE A HOTPOINT 3.8 CU.FT WASHER HOTPOINT 6.2 CU.FT DRYER THIS IS WHAT I BOUGHT....

scholarlybullterrier254, I'm sorry you went through this aggravation. Being an avid JCPenney shopper for years, I hate to read that people had bad experiences with them.

However, in this case, the fault is yours. If you look at the top of the rebate form it shows the model numbers of what models qualify for the rebate. When you wrote the model numbers at the bottom, you wrote the model numbers of parts and accessories. You needed to write the model number of the APPLIANCES.

You wrote htx24eask0ws for the dryer. The correct model number is htx24easkws. For the washer, you wrote htw240ask4ws. The correct model number is htw240askws.

Therefore, the fault is yours and you, yourself, disqualified your appliances by not filling out the rebate form correctly. How can you slam a business when it was YOU who has made the mistake?

If only people would take a moment to look things over carefully..... tsk, tsk, tsk

Im keeping this post alive in 2017! I also used to be a JC Penney frequeny shopper. I've got a house full of cordless blinds by them, random furniture and a Cindy Crawford patio set that has held up really well. All I beg is that they throw a small bone to their long boned ladies and bring back the ultra tall pants. We all know there are a handful of companies out there with subpar quality pants and cords in longer lengths but they are hilariously overpriced. JC Penney, please do us a small favor. Help us leggy girls find clothes we can fit and afford. Please?

I went to the jewlery counter 3 employees behind the counter 1 taking care of a customer... 2 are just just talking to each other they see my family and they keep there heads down trying not to make amy effort to ask us do we need help.. i had to say excuss me to get them to acknowledge me .. the girl had a look on her face like she disnt want to be bothered she immediately says.. i cant ring you out .. ok ? I just had a question.. moving for i was eventually helped by someone else mean while the same to girls kept each others converstion.. i left the store to do more shopping a few hrs later i come back and seen the same girls still hanging side by side and i walk by and said your in the same spot as when i left and couldnt help? She made a pifff.. sound i then came around and asked the group is there a manager thats when Kelly says i am being at the fact im upset about gow poorly I was treated from this girls I say i have a issue with those girls and when im saying this the two girls mouths dropped and they rolled there eyes and just kept starring.. so I got even more upset and said you can stop rolling ur eyes at me then ur managwr Kelly tell me not to speak to them that way! Really!!! But they can stand there and make faces and sighs to a customer??? I responed I wouldnt speak to them if they were not eye rolling and being disrespectful. Kelly says i apologize have a nice day with a sarcastic voice.. to bad Jcpennys allows there workers to be lazy rude and disrespectful.. Your store just missed out on a $700 ring i was going to buy on monday with the original employee who was great to me a few days earlier.. shame on you for poor managment the customers should be greeted and a associate to always be happy to help a paying customer.. not there for social time!
