Order leather sofa on 17 August and still waiting for delivery, it's 14 October. Sales team have no idea where my order is but have been quick to charge my card several thousands dollars. V poor service.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM PENNEYS. Same thing happened to me.

Ordered a $3500 leather sectional on July 5th. Delivery date passed with no contact from Penney's. Called Customer Service every week for the next six weeks. They had no idea what happened to the sectional.

My credit card, by the way, was charged in Aug.

Finally cancelled order. Terrible Customer Service.

Jcpenney in New York, New York - Jc Penny Manhattan store at 100 West 33rd, street

I am a frequent customer to JC Penny in NYC since I work in the area. I also spend a lot of money in the store purchasing items for myself and for gifts. I am angry at the lack of customer service and rudeness in their jewelry department and this is not the first time but it will be the last because I will not shop there again. I picked up a piece of jewelry that was on sale and asked politely if they could check the price. There were no other customers around. Both Associates working at the same case told me they were cleaning their case and couldn't do it for me even though the cash register was literally 3 feet away. So they expected me to walk to another part of the store and stand on line where the clothing area was just for a price check when it was a piece of jewelry and I was in the jewelry section? I put it down and said forget it. I will never ever purchase a piece of jewelry in Penny's. I was infuriated at the rudeness. They didn't want to be bothered. I was very polite and was floored at their refusal. Unbelievable! It happened another time too around the holidays so.......I am done!!!

On March 10, 2015 I ordered Hunter Douglas Shades. Today I had these so called Shades installed and was beside myself as they are paper thin, they don't stay in place as they keep sliding up. According to warranty these shades are Symmetry Cellular Shade Collection and not Hunter Douglas Shades. I will never shop at JCP again and will be closing out my credit account and will tell everyone of my experience and hopefully they will not shop at JCP. I contacted JCP to voice my concern and district manager was to call me before end of the day, as expected no follow up call.

Went to jcp portraits in bay plaza after being there 1 hour early people who were 10 minutes late was seen before me then there is a certain amount of pictures to be taken & I only got 9 pictures taken. There is no organization it's a mess you are only limited to certain background, online has more selection

The new "business model" is losing you customer after customer (including me). It's women; it's men; it's clothing; it's shoes. All of it's gone now. http://www.mallseeker.com/jcpenney-forum.aspx I can't shop there any more (after doing so for decades). No more St. John's Bay shoes or clothing. The store is just not carrying the high quality merchandise it used to carry. You are headed for a complete failure. You are WAY off in your business model; will NOT "win over" the younger buyers and are losing the middle aged shoppers in droves. It's appalling and it's ***. Get over yourselves and go back to the old model. Add some brand name "style shops" IN ADDITION to the stuff you've always carried. Take a look at the comments in the blog link I included here!!!!!

I completely agree. They have really gone down hill and seem to have forgotten their loyal customers.

It used to be my favorite place to shop, especially for clothes and purses. It's a shame.

It isn't logical to have an employee stationed at a register in the back that would be used maybe twice a day just to please one person. Besides, is walking really THAT big of an inconvenience?

If it is a big store, they have to focus on cleaning up after sloppy customers, fixing their department after lazy people rifle through it and walk away, and deal with customers at the checkout. Pajamas are located in lingerie. Not women's clothing. Also, if it is summer, the selection will be shotty, because pjs are commonly used in the winter.

Maybe JCP should just invest in motorized wheelchairs so lazy people don't have to deal with ridiculous things like walking.

I mean, who does that? Certainly not the employees who are there for 9 hours and are not allowed to sit down.

Happily, I was able to order them online. I ordered multipacks and have about 1 year's supply. Yay!!!!

Extremely disappointed that east 5th panty hose appears to b fading away. I depend on them immensely! Now what do I do????? I am a 30yr. teacher who has just retired and these are the only pantyhose I wear. They give my orthopaedic legs and lower extremities the necessary support as I move about ,and are sheer enough to be flattering . Although I have a less than arduous schedule, these days, I rely on them for dressy occasions and walking support, traveling, etc. Why do all of the excellent products disappear under the guise of commercial advancement.?Noone in the green Acres mall store, told me I could order them online.They just said they were discontinued, which put me immediately in panic mode! I just made a desperate attempt to find them., but I can see that they are not easy to get.Please do whatever is necessary to keep this product alive. I know that I am not the only one who feels this way!HELP!

I think all the "comments" are missing his point. He never asked or was looking for a discount.

He is expressing he is military in that he has no way to go physically shopping on his own, and has to resolve to using online shopping only.

And, his beef with JCP is that they waited 24 days to notify him that they were out of stock of everything. Leaving him less than a week (overseas in the United Arab Emirates) to purchase things and get them shipped.

Is there this much prejudice towards military members that no one could read what he wrote and just assumed immediately? Sad day.
