1st time buyer on the site... this company doesn't care about earning your business.... rude reps even on live chat. Has $100 of merch in my cart and asked for a free shipping code because Free shipping on orders with SUBTOTAL $100 or more qualified. When i explained what i saw to the reps.. they could care less and didn't offer me any type of encouragement to complete my purchase... Congrats, you just lost a $100 purchase over 9 bucks... This was an awful experience. I won't be going back to the site ever again...

Long wait! They let customers use the same coupon for half hour! I was in line for over 20 minutes, while this lady ABUSED the $10 off $25 coupon!!!! The coupon clearly states it is to be used ONE time per customer, per transaction. This policy isn't being upheld. I got so mad that I left, because the associate ringing the customer up allowed the customer to break her transaction up about 6 or 7 times. Not fair! I only had one shirt on my hand. If people want to use that coupon more than once, that they should have to get back in like like everybody else!

You have to pay on time every month or your credit rating will be harmed. It isn't just store cards, all cards will report late payments.

We ordered a crib when I was 5 months pregnant. We were told 3 weeks for delivery. We also ordered the matching dresser a week later, also told 3 weeks for delivery. I am now 6 1/2 months pregnant, and during that time, JC Penny's has lost the dresser. We called the day after the delivery was to happen and THAT'S when JC Penny's said they lost the dresser. JC Penny's couldn't even call and give us the update. We had to cancel the order, and reorder the dresser, all the while the crib is waiting to be delivered from the warehouse so that both items can be delivered at the same time. Well, they have found the first dresser that was lost and now has to be sent back to New Jersey before they can send the second dresser. JC Penny's told us this will take another 2-3 weeks. We are highly upset with their customer service. We feel they don't care about their customers or their products they are trying to sell. Where is the quality control? Where is the training of the employees? Is JC Penny's at a point where the don't care about anything?
