On August 10th , 2014 my husband went into jcpennys and purchased some school shirts for our grand son, winded up applying for a credit card. He was told he would receive our credit cards in the mail within 2 weeks.
However, My husband decided to pay off the bill directly after the purchase, at the store. We Waited for our credit cards to arrive, but we never recieved them, I winded up calling them October 9, 2014 and explained the issue of us never recieving our credit cards and would they double checked our mailing address and check my account for any activity,everything was correct, then I was told they would issue me another set of credit cards and again it would be here within 2 weeks. We once again waited to recieve our JCpennys credit card. I even went to JCpennys and was able to charge a $404.00 purchase, they were able to pull up the account.
It is now October 28th , 2014 and I just called once again and I was told it was sent out and I may have thrown it away, since it comes in a plan white envelope and looks like junk mail. I told the lady I'm not *** and I do not throw anything away until I go through it. The agent told me she will issue me another card.We are beyond Pist and angry. We have chosen to close out the credit card and pay it off.
Please people be careful when you decide to apply for a JCpennys card.The bank that issues their credit cards SUCK when it comes to any type of assistance, they do not want to help you in any way.
I can not wait to rid myself of this .

Preferred solution: I want my bill for the purchased I made so I can pay it off ASAP and then I want the account closed out and a letter sent to both me and the credit agency stating why I had to close my account, since it was not our fault.
