Had photo appt. at J C Penney studio in McDonough, Ga. A J C Penney employee, Christine (who did not work in the photo studio) told another "group" (by phone) that the studio took walk-ins and told them they could have pictures taken in my spot. I was there 10 minutes before my appointment. They were there five minutes before me. The employee argued inappropriately with the Portrait Studio manager in front of several customers. Christine was rude and I was embarrassed for the manager. Christine argued with the studio employee for a good five minutes. She would not listen to the studio manager as she explained that she had to honor appts. first. She offered to have the group hang around and she would work them in between appts. I was in shock watching this episode unfold. It was the most inappropriate behavior of a J C Penney employee (or any employee) that I have ever witnessed. Christine needs training. Jcpenney in North Highlands, California - Called customer service 15 times was hung up 5 times

I ordered a ring online and wanted to cancer purchase called the store...customer service representative was unable to transfer me to jewelry department and kept hanging up on me...When I called again to talk to a manager I was on hold for half an hour and no one came to the phone....I called a total of 15 times...5 of which I was hanged up on ...I would never shop at JC penny again. I am very very disappointment in customer service and management. I was in customer service for years and most of this time supervising adults I would never let this kind of disrespectful and unwelcome behavior to continue

On March 10, 2015 I ordered Hunter Douglas Shades. Today I had these so called Shades installed and was beside myself as they are paper thin, they don't stay in place as they keep sliding up. According to warranty these shades are Symmetry Cellular Shade Collection and not Hunter Douglas Shades. I will never shop at JCP again and will be closing out my credit account and will tell everyone of my experience and hopefully they will not shop at JCP. I contacted JCP to voice my concern and district manager was to call me before end of the day, as expected no follow up call.

i worked for jCPenney for almost 3 years we burned through Manager after manager and went through 4 atore managers when in 2 1/2 years and countless departments heads ghe leadership in the company aucks beyound all measures and has no structure and lies to customers about coupons and havjng customers apply for credit cards all *** day long the company is horriable and i believe should go to the way side. Not to mention at times did have good managers but the comlany runs off the good ones and brings in their buddies and horrible personel Thank You

Jcpenney in Knoxville, Tennessee - No resolve in customer service

After purchasing a pair of St John Bay mens hiking boots I noticed they were tearing at the rubber on the side after 2 months,being it is almost spring, I cannot take them back, I contacted customer service to be told I can order them on line with 15% off, Why would I want to pay for them again? This is totally unacceptable.I hope they go under.The stores are vacant and there is never any help around anyhow. I was told my complaint would be sent to the store, the manager there will not do anything about it because they DON"T have the shoe anymore!
