Don’t do it ! | Jcpenney

Ordered an air fryer back in November waited a month for shipment and found it was cancelled went to the store to find out why wtf etc. talked to store mgr who was real nice and helpful he ordered another and worked the rebate in the price I had to pay, order was supposed to be delivered yesterday so I looked it up CANCELLED again. Got on chat line to try to clear this up. Was told to order it again. That was the best they could offer ! Meanwhile my daughter is still waiting for her Christmas present and Im sounding like a liar to her.

I ordered two items a month ago. One of my two items was cancelled, as out of stock. My second item showed it was shipped, but when the package arrived, it was something completely different. I contacted the online service and they were not helpful at all. They told me that I would be responsible to return the items I received to receive a refund and that the item I ordered was not in stock, so they could not re-order for me. Zero remorse for my inconvenience. I will NEVER purchase online again. Horrible customer service an incompetent warehouse staff. How do you mix up two women's t-shirt and a men's jacket.

Both UPS and FedEX now use the post office to do the end delivery of many packages from retailers like Amazon or JC Penny. They deliver your package to the post office in your town and then the post office will make the actual delivery.

Most often, you are not told this vital bit of info when you order. The problem, of course is in the unreliability of the post office to actually deliver mail timely and/or reliably. In your case, someone may have stolen the package as it could have been "delivered" to your front door, the complex office or who knows where. Apparently, as is typical the postal carrier would not have actually knocked on your door---that takes effort---and left it somewhere for you to find.

If you paid by debit card, then you are now out the money, but can still file a dispute for non-delivered goods.

If you were smart and used a credit card, file a dispute and you won't have to pay it until this is resolved. By the way, a delivery by the post office at 8:31 pm seems very suspicious and unusual for the post office---or any delivery company unless it is around the Christmas holidays.

Ordering online for store pickup. Didn’t like my PayPal. Charged n refunded PayPal. Then while I ordered another method, charged n ordered via PayPal. Go in to pick up item. Had to cancel one order. Then cashier and someone on JCP.com decide to cancel second order without asking me or getting my permission. Then wanted to ring item up. Yea, no cash on that card to pay for item since there were two charges I have to wait 5-7 days to be refunded. An hour of my life I won’t get back along with money I might want to use being withheld from me. And 5-7 days, that 40% coupon I had will be expired. Never shopping JCPenneys again.
