I, james a. robinson 232 whispering willow lane, grants pass, oregon no longer have an account with jcp. So stop sending me your ads I closed my account for this reason after 42 years. My wife, the primary card holder has not used her card for at leat 4 years and is a nursing home and has no use for you card. I asked to have her name removed from and invalidate her card. I used her card last year and was inforemd I could not use her card. Her card was surrendered to the clerk, I was issued a tempory card. You would not remove name her name. so I terminated my card. So. Stop sending me mail

Never put your name and address online like that. Might stop Penneys from sending you mail, but I bet you'll get alot of other unwanted mail now. Think before posting!

Jcpenney in Midlothian, Virginia - Online Ordering and shipping to store

Ordered 2 items online to delivery to the store to avoid the shipping charges on Dec. 27. Kept checking my account, it kept saying "no orders to show in this account". Finally gave up and called customer service. What alot of help they were. She stated that my merchandise was in the store, but she had no clue how long it'd been there. Also had no reason why I was not notified when the items came in. Also had ordered some Christmas presents and was never told items had been back ordered. Just thankful I ordered Christmas back in November! I will NOT order from JCP again.

I have an account with JC Pennys for the pass 6 years or longer. I brought a warranty for jewelry for repair, fade and diamond lost in jewelry. I brought this jewelry last year on my charge card and it was said to be put in the system but when I went back to the same JC Penny's store they had on my charge to my account that they could pull up. There was NO account of me even purchasing any jewelry and NO contract. The lady at store said their system goes back only 6 months so who do I contact to pull up my account from 2011 with purchase and warranty. I talked to the supervisor at the Orange Park store in Orange Park Florida her name is Miss Amm. I know I brought the jewelry in December on my charge and I need help in locating the purchase and warranty contract. What happened to all the commercials about things being simpler now?

They are completely clueless when you call customer service. It is like they are just making up answers on the fly there.

I was in your Russellville, Ar. store 11/13/2012. Purchased a couple of items & when I went to check out, I swiped my JCPennys premier card which I have had for several years (since my last one was stolen) & it was denied. Now I have been a faithful customer of yours for over 20 years and I always pay in full and before time. I had no idea what was going on & I was totally embarrassed! when I arrived home I called and found out that a bill was owed from Oct. that I had not received a statement for. I finally got through to the *** that I was talking to that I HAD NOT RECEIVED THE STATEMENT!!! Took an act of congress to get him to check my number to see if it was still active. He was very insistant that I pay right then over the phone. I did that but ask to see a copy of this bill to make sure it was indeed mine as I was out of state part of Oct. I finally got the statement TODAY-11/15/2012 but no indication as to what was purchased. I ought to sue your *** off for embarrassing me and shutting my card down as if you weren't such idiots, you could look at my account and see that if you don't receive my payment in full before the due date, there is something definately wrong and it's your fault. The more I think about it---the more a lawsuite against you just might wake you up! and by the way, your company sucks now. I hate your stores, I hate the way the check-outs are set up and I hate your clothing lines now. Don't think I will ever do anymore business with you. Yeah, if YOU weren't such a whiny, entitled, ***, then perhaps YOU would understand that not getting a statement doesn't absolve YOU of the debt and payment. It is not the company's responsibility to hold your hand and make sure you pay your bills, so take some freaking responsibility, because you sound about 12 years old. :roll :roll

Husband bought me a diamond ring from fine jewelry dept for around $2500. The very first time I wore it one of the diamonds fell out. I had him return it for a full refund (used our JCP credit card) and thought it was no problem. So, then about a month later I start getting calls from collection co. they use asking why I haven't paid the minimum balance on card of $94. First of all, my minimum balance is only like $15, as I only owed around $150 on card. Found out they were still taking into account the ring which we returned!! They said it didn't matter, they couldn't change the minimum payment. Talk about a bunch of BS! I have been a long time customer and spent tons of money in that store and that's how they repay me?! I paid off their *** credit card, closed the acct and shredded the *** thing. I'll never shop there again. *** Penny's!

I am not at all pleased with all the changes in JCP, and I emailed them and told them so. I got back a generic, stock rebuttal which praised all their changes, and ended with "We hope you are as excited as we are about the changes" and clearly I WASN'T excited. I wonder if they even bothered to read it. I have had a credit card account at JCP for over 38 years and have spent mega-bucks there, but I'm about to end my shopping with them. If that's the best they can address my concerns, I want no part of them.

I concur. JCP is quickly turning into a Walmart clone.

Clothing quality and customer service has continuously gone down over the last 6 months. Used to buy all my clothes there but now they are gone and being replaced by inferior stuff.

Remember Montgomery Wards. JCP is now on the same path.
