I recently moved to the east coast from the west coast, and therefore have a new address and phone number.I went to update my information on the credit card login site, only to be told that I could not update my address without my previous mobile phone (which is inoperative in my new town of residence).

Apparently, sending a secure passcode via email is not possible; the passcode can only be received via the mobile phone number already on the site. I figured by calling customer service I could get these issues resolved. I was mistaken. They have to snail mail the passcode, which takes 7-10 days, and my JCP credit card is utterly useless until then.

So much for taking advantage of the fall sale.I guess JCP doesn't want my money!
