Right now I am so angree. jc penney in lake grove NY , is the reason for that .

I am also waiting for curtains since April 2008 . the decorator that was here said no problem with back orders. The week they were supposed to install it they tell me there is a back order and it will have to be done at a later date. After that date , I called numerous times and customers service had no idea what to say .

First they say its still not ready , then they say it is ready .. but still no one calls me back . now it is Aug 1 1st .. I am sitting here after taking the day off and the installer still is not here..

I called them and they said oh he is doing another house then he will be at your house . my decorator says " what do you want me to do fire him ?" .. she tells me to complain about her and everyone else she don't care. oh I forgot to mention that only partial of my curtains are here..

all the time I was calling they never told me my swags had a defect .. and that they were waiting for my decorator to come back from vacation to give the go ahead to do them over.. What the *** ? she needs to give the ok , or is it common sense..

they want to give me 2oo for the trouble , I lost more then that taking off from work 2xs and they never came. never again will I deal with jc penney.

I recently had a terrible experience with JC Penney Custom Decorating. After spending $4K with a decorator, I have not spoken to her since the day we made the purchase.

She has not returned calls even though the shippment was late and incomplete. I am still waiting for the majority of the merchandise I purchased (along with repairs on one item that was already installed).

We spoke to her manager, whose response was "well, crazy things can happen in decorating. I've been in the field longer than you have, but you should know that crazy things happen when you go custom." I will never purchase anything from this store again.

The worst excuse for custom decorating is JCP Custom Decorating, nothing but unhappy customers. Every job that they do is a problem and a complaint waiting to happen.

I can tell you that for every customer like this, JcPenneys has hundreds of very satisfied people who love what we do. It is difficult times and we work very hard to be the very best we can.

Our Sales, Installers, Coordinators and Managers try to be fair at all times.

If there was a web site dedicated to happy and satisfied clientele wouldn't that be positive and encouraging. This is like a newspaper-good reports just are not good reading material.

It will only get worse.Cut backs.Trading expierenced employees for out of college employees..with no real knowledge of the job...except how to make more money for the company,will cost in the long run.

Sometimes books are not everything.Sometimes,it is the people who care and know the job that makes the business.
