JCPenney - False advertising
I ordered a pair of white shoes back in may as they advertised. Was informed they were on back order.
2 months later I received email that the store was sorry it was taking so long and they will let me know when shoes were available. Have not heard one word from them in August. I called they have no history of my order. The shoes are not even available online any more.
Had to wait for a supervisor for over 30 minutes who was annoyed I called to ask what happened.
She had no answers. This is false advertising and very poor management as well as poor customer service.

They got right back to me when I had a similar problem.
