TOTAL $1029.29 PLUS LOWES$38.25 I DID ALL OF THIS IN GOOD FAITH ONLY TO RECEIVE AN E-MAIL/FACEBOOK MESSAGE/TELEPHONE CALL THAT MY PURCHASES DONOT QUALIFY. I WOULD LOVE A TOTAL REFUND $1029.29 + $38.25 YEP!! FREE BECAUSE OF THE AGGRAVATION AND OR HALF. NOT TO MENTION THE SMALL APPLIANCES I BOUGHT AND STILL WAS DENIED OF THE REBATE -TOTAL SCAMMERS.

I PURCHASE THE HOTPOINT WASHER&DRYER BLACK FRIDAY 2018 AS ADVERTISE TO RECEIVE $200 VISA CARD, SPENT $1029 I WAS TOLD MY PURCHASES DIDNOT QUALIFY-UPON DELIVERY THEY LEFT THE ITEMS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR, DIDN'T BEING ANY EQUIPMENT TO HOOK IT UP. I WENT TO LOWES TO GET THE EQUIPMENT.
I CALLED GE/ JCPENNEY-COLUMBUS/AND STORE OF PURCHASE I WAS COMPENSATED FOR MY INCONVENIENCE. NEVER FROM THE REBATE THEY ARE HIGHLY DISHONORABLE, SCAMMERS LIARS CHANGE THE RULES. NEVER SENT ANYTHING IN WRITING TO BACK UP THEIR CLAIM OF DENIAL. THE STORE WAS MORE THAN GRACIOUS TO HONOR MY REBATE.
AS WELL AS COLUMBUS WITH MY DELIVERY. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM JCPENNEY NOT EVEN A FREE GLASS OF WATER.

scholarlybullterrier254, I'm sorry you went through this aggravation. Being an avid JCPenney shopper for years, I hate to read that people had bad experiences with them.
However, in this case, the fault is yours. If you look at the top of the rebate form it shows the model numbers of what models qualify for the rebate. When you wrote the model numbers at the bottom, you wrote the model numbers of parts and accessories. You needed to write the model number of the APPLIANCES.
You wrote htx24eask0ws for the dryer. The correct model number is htx24easkws. For the washer, you wrote htw240ask4ws. The correct model number is htw240askws.
Therefore, the fault is yours and you, yourself, disqualified your appliances by not filling out the rebate form correctly. How can you slam a business when it was YOU who has made the mistake?
If only people would take a moment to look things over carefully..... tsk, tsk, tsk
