Received the furniture Wednesday before Xmas. Delivered 7:00pm.

Delivery guys great. Of course furniture arrived damaged. Chair arm was separated and bottom covering of sofa torn. Needed the furniture for Xmas so we took it.

Pictures taken by self and delivery man who said he would file a report in the morning. Thursday no call from JCP. Friday we called them and reported the damage. They said the delivery company had not entered a code that was needed and they couldn't do anything till they received that.

WE HAD TO CONTACT THEIR VENDOR TO TRY TO GET IT STRAIGHTENED OUT. After a number of calls we got it straightened out. They then told us they had to research it and would get back to us the next day. Jump forward another week to 12/30 and no return call.

My wife called again. Someone would get back to us. Now 1/10 and still no word. Filed a dispute with the charge last week received a notice of the dispute in the mail stating that it would be looked into and SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME.

Of all the times that we have been told that we only received 1 callback and that was to tell us they did not know where the order was. As of this point furniture is going back as soon as someone contacts us.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
