I, first, made a purchase of a pair of, costume, earrings, and, did not remember to ask the salesperson whether I had rewards points. SHE DID NOT THINK TO ASK ME, EITHER!
I asked her after she rang it up, and, she siad she had to create a "return", and, then, charge it agqin. After the reward pointes were applied, I ended up with a 0 balance for the earrings!
The, next, morning, I found out that the cost of the earrings: $13+ was deducted from my checking, account! I called the J.C. Penney corporation "Customer Service" and, after giving all of the information to the woman, she said that the manager of my, specific, store, in which I had shopped, would be calling "within 48 hours" to investigate the sale.
THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED, AND, I AM QUITE DISSATISFIED! I DO NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO PURSUE IT, BUT I TAKE ISSUE WITH YOUR STORE'S LACK OF EFFICIENCY, AND, HONESTY!!
