Not resolved

After continuing to send me new cards and doubling by available balance, I receive a letter that they are cancelling my card. I have a zero balance and have never missed a payment with them.

I have not used the card in 8 months. This is ridiculous. They will report the closed account and it will show adversely on my credit score. I will never shop at JC Penney again.

That is a bad way to do business. If their defense is that they do not issue their own cards and Synchrony or whatever bank they are using now, issues them then perhaps it would be in their best interest to find another lender instead of running off loyal customers.

I may not have used my card much but I did shop there frequently. No more.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
