They just did the same to me. They cancelled two of my orders (which were purchased at really good savings due to the items being on sale in combination with some coupon codes). They sent me confirmation of my orders via email. Then they sent me confirmation of them having been shipped...and finally the tracking information showed the shipment as delayed for reasons that the sender re-routed them to be returned to them. I was charged for one of the orders. I still do not see a refund, but, am VERY disappointed and astonished that they would do something that is, so obviously, poor business practice.

Promise from penny's for delivery , not delivered, no explaination. Terrible service. Why aren't companies held to agreements they make ? We were desperate for a new washing machine as ours just died ( bearing worn out) just as our two boys returned home for summer. We only bought from penny's because they promised us the soonest delivery. Now with no delivery in sight we are facing a growing mountain of clothes and contact with this company has been only a lesson in frustration . It seems company's are allowed to lie to consumers with no recourse. Yet if I was to try to throw around promises with no intentions of following through in my daily life I would suffer serious repercussions .

I purchased some blouses from liz clairborne at jc penney at they tore up after the first use. Blouses were expensive and the material is so thin and cheap.they should be way cheeper for that kind of material.

Jcpenney in Los Angeles, California - Watch out for the up sales.

Went to check out their 2 pair of glasses for $99.each. I left because of the shell game being played with the choices, and how when I tried to back up a little to save money, suddenly choices were no longer available. They don't even give you an itemized receipt so you can see what you paid for what. Last time for me. Hate the corporate attitude. They measure success by how much they can trick their customers into paying. And it's too bad they make their employees to take part in this scheme, because they actually have a decent selection of frames.

For years I have been an avid JCPenney online shopper. For the past year my shopping cart has pretty much remained empty, as try as I might I can't find anything from their product lines to purchase. My husband says "Thank You JCPenney, no monthly payments for you!" Now this form requires that I enter at least 100 words voicing my complaint. What would Judge Judy say? Poor quality, High prices, limited supplies. If I do find something to purchase after searching online for hours to appease my insomnia, it will inevitably be out of stock. Did I include poor value???

I turnee 26 a few months ago. Let me tell u. These new clothes lack in so much quality. I purposely avoided forever21 because jcp had mu h better options. I was a worthington st johns bay bisoubisou mixit more recently ana addict. Even as a teen i got worthington clothes bcause they were cute sexy if u wanted them to be. Anyhow young people .. also like quality items. I was 24 when i stop led buying 90% of what i used to get at jcp. Even with these new colors and patterns that are appealing from afar i wouldnt buy it. Instead i can get 10$ worth of fabric and do it myself. Custom fit. Pattern of my choice... no sweat shops. No inferior fabrics. Its not only jcp who has made these poor quality high price changes. Its just dissappointing that they joined the bandwagon. . We had good times jcp and I. My firat bra.. my prom dress.. college warbdrobe.. my study abroad clothes.. my job interview clothed.. no more. Merciii. Et au revoir

As a current employee..so far..please send ALL these directly to the head office in Plano, TX. Believe me when I say as employees of JCP who have been here for some time, we all AGREE with you, but at the employee level we a can't do anything about it, not even our store manager. Also just as a footnote, though no excuse for some rude employees, mgmt, etc...we have had customers literally gripeing (spelling?) at us everyday,for over a year since this "change" started, just remember we are doing the best we can, but we are by no means a "customer service venting punching bag". Do the surveys, call the head office-Board of directors..Where its going to count and who REALLY have the say-so to make the changes and UNDO all these "changes"

I am a 66 year old grandmother and I shop at many stores in my area. I have always shopped regularly at JCP. I was interested in the changes that I had read about. But, I must say I am not impressed with the changes. Initially, I liked the idea of simple pricing. But my biggest complaint is the quality of the items offered. The price is "good" but the quality of the items are very poor. It's like "management" decided to greatly reduce manufacturing costs, at the price of quality. Please get better quality items (women's, missy clothing, and men's clothing as well. Then I will return to actual purchasing your items again. I'm glad someone's listening... Vicki Madosh-Duenas
