Ordered three pair of shoes with charges reduced by offer. The display showed $113.## including tax and shipping. I assumed that when I completed the order that shipping charges would automatically be removed. I want the shipping charges removed, or I will return all items and drop my new account and shop amazon prime. Used this option instead of waiting for C/S rep on phone.

I ordered over $100 in charges and expected free shipping. Once the discount was applied it was $113 with shipping fees and tax. I will cancel the order if you will not honor free shipping.

They just did the same to me. They cancelled two of my orders (which were purchased at really good savings due to the items being on sale in combination with some coupon codes). They sent me confirmation of my orders via email. Then they sent me confirmation of them having been shipped...and finally the tracking information showed the shipment as delayed for reasons that the sender re-routed them to be returned to them. I was charged for one of the orders. I still do not see a refund, but, am VERY disappointed and astonished that they would do something that is, so obviously, poor business practice.

I placed my order of 5 items on 8/23, they sent me a email today 9/4 reminding me that my order was ready for pick up. I pack up my family and drive the 14 miles to pick the items up to find out that only 1 of 5 is at the store and the rest might be in next week. I had the items set for pick up because shipping them would take 5 days longer. Mind you all were estamated ready for pick up by 8/2 at store or 8/7 delivered. So now I can wait for the other 4 items to ship to the store for me to pick up or call and have it shipped to my home. I brought the 1 item home to find out its a mens size 16 and not a boys size 16. I never even shopped the mens department online. If JCPenny wants to stay competitive they better find a way to ship faster, cuz come xmas time people are not going to wait 2-4 weeks for their purchases. My decission now is to cancel entire order, return the item that is a mens not boys and take my business elsewhere. Now I know why Amazon is number 1.

I ordered a tri-fold wallet for my husband from jcp, on 12/03/12 on line. 10 days later get postcard ite unavailable, call customer service, I am told they have in black no brown order item again. Had ordered other wallet with other stuff and free shipping this time they try to charge shipping even though item not available is their fault. Get customer care person does order on phone says in stock will ship in time for Xmas. Gives me discount for confusion and delay and free shipping. Get postcard from JCP item has shipped. Waiting, waiting awing! No wallet call customer care they say it shipped 12/17/12 (first time said shipped 12/05/12!) Call again on 12/21/12 said postcard has no tracking number? Says it will be here 12/24/12. No iWallet! Again! call customer service this time they say oh it was canceled! I am really sick and tired of all the lies, plus now I just found out they never removed the charges from my card. I finally got someone who actually took the charges off but had no explanation for the constant run=around! I will not do business with JCP on line ever again!!

I will never shop at this department store again. The corporation itself has abysmal customer service! I placed an order on the 25th of November, got an email indicating shipping on the 9th of December and when I still didn't receive any updates on shipping information, I called in to check...only to be told that they had cancelled my order and refunded me my money back because the warehouse had a shortage. Uh, where was my notification email? Are you seriously going to be providing such horrible service this close to Christmas? Now I have to scramble to find an alternative present because JCP was unprofessional and didn't think it was important to let their customers know about changes to their orders. I called into the main office and they were unprofessional as well. One actually hung up on me and the other offered me a measly 15% off as compensation. No, I don't want your 15% off. I wanted and expected good customer service but I guess that's too much to expect from JCP. I will no longer shop here and will tell everybody I know this story so that they will avoid this corporation as well. You messed up, JCP. Bad customer service doesn't fly here in America.
