National Reward Center in Ceres, California - Misleading scammers

I did the Two things it said to do, share and send to five groups to get a jcpenny card, now it wants all this other stuff, just do what you said you would and give me my card or i will post daily wjay a scam this is, very decieving. I am going to follow up on my post amd let people know what a lie ot is and dont even get started, i cant even get into the dispute page, pathetic, probably wont let me send thos either, just send the $100 jc penny card ad oroginally stated

You sound like you are not making the minimum payments...a requirement FOR ALL CREDIT CARDS!!!!! If you don't the consequences are LATE FEES AND PENALTIES AND HIGHER INTEREST RATES!!!

Ok hate to break it to you but credit card financing doesn't work in a ohh I'll pay what I want when I want laid back manner. Gosh I hope you see this before you implode

Jcpenney in Clovis, California - $25 Late Fee for being 2 hrs late!!!!

I paid my bill 2 hrs late. My payment was due for 6.23.14... I paid it on 6.23.14. but because of a time difference the payment was about 2 hrs late... I got a Jcpenny card to help me (a college student with limited income) to buy clothing, and to start my credit. As for why it was late... I had fraudulent activity on my back account and it was frozen... after dealing with that and unfreezing my accounts THEN the payment was made and that lead to it being 2 hrs late. I can't have this anymore... After paying the bill. And paying off the card, I will have to cancel the card. The late fees are too much and I can't afford to not be forgiven for being late 2 hrs, even though technically the bill was still paid on 6.23.14.

You paying your jcpenney card late, is not jcpenney's fault. All major retailers that have credit cards, usually have those cards issued from a seperate, larger bank.

Those banks make the rules for you to pay your credit card-and if you don't pay on time, what the consequences may be.

This is not uncommon practice for all credit cards.

You did know that you could have talked to your bank and withdrawn cash long before this would have been an issue?

Also, in the Terms Of Use of almost every credit card on this planet it will say that payments need to be made before a certain time based on the timezone of their main office to not garner late fees.

No sympathy my friend.

Dear Anonymous (JC Penny paid shill),

The point is about customer service! You have heard about customer retention, as the customer is why you are in business.

If you are not a paid shill take the time to read and comment on the other customer complaints about cheap merchandise being sold under former branding, pricing markups so sale prices look better (which in actuality is still higher than the original price), online orders that do not get placed, bookkeeping errors, refunds that customers need to fight to get and delivery nightmares. So based on what I have read and if 2 hours, as in this complaint, means losing a customer, I would venture that this chain is about to go the way of Circuit City and Kmart. If this is the new JC Penny, remember you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

My advice to you is make sure you get paid up front. It is amazing what people will do for a paycheck!
