Be aware of purchasing a huge amount of items online from JCPenney due to freud and being cheated, or should I said robbed. I purchased about 30 items online. After i received the shipment, some of the items which were on the Order Summary I did not receive them. However, I was charged for those items I did not receive and were on the Order Summary. When I called the JC Penney number 18003221189, the lady said that probably they did not have those items I wad charged for, and that's why I did not receive them. However, when I purchased all the items it showed on the system they are in stock. The same jcpenney customer service I was talking to said that if i want them to send me the items I did not received, she will charge me again for them and this time I will be charged their regular price. If they don't have those items, as the lady said initially, how I will receive them a second time. I will never shop online again from JC Penney. I will shop from Macy. I have always received the correct items and all of the items I have purchased online frim Macy.Even they prefer to send me the items in chunk, which means that they nake sure they ship all the items they indicate on the order summary.

Order leather sofa on 17 August and still waiting for delivery, it's 14 October. Sales team have no idea where my order is but have been quick to charge my card several thousands dollars. V poor service.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and they sent me one of different at what i order. The sad of this problem is that is the third time that jc penniey send me the wrong shoes. And will be the lat time i buy from jcpenney store. Horrible service in store and online the worst of the worst. They sent me this horribles shoes and i ordered modellista cream/ sneak flat ballet shoes. Im very dissatisfied with this store, and its no the first time.

I ordered a refrigerator on JCPenney.com on 10/2/16. On 10/3/16 I saw that HomeDepot.com had the identical refrigerator for $50 less. I contacted JCP for a price adjustment and they said I had to come into the store w/the print out to get an adjustment. I then called the nearest store to me and asked for a manager who told me the exact same thing. I offered to email or fax the print out I had but they said I had to physically be in the store. I then told them to cancel my order for over $500 and I would buy the item from HomeDepot. After a 15 minute search and me being on hold because they couldn't even locate my item in their system the young lady "told" me she has cancelled my order and to call back tomorrow for a confirmation number. Unbelievable! Isn't the point of online shopping to not to have to go in the store...especially to show a piece of paper that's available "online" for all to see? ~K.Brame

this is what I i put on a comment on a posting on the internet saying what the new CEO is planning for JCP. This is in reference to the Carson and Torrance, CA stores. I just called in a complaint today about the junk they are selling and how the stores look like a rummage sale rather than a retailer in a mall. I thought they were going out of business cause every nook in the stores are clearance 70% or more off or deep sales. The merchandise they sale is such poor quality, they can't hardly give this stuff away. The material is so thin you can read through it. Yes, they put names like Liz on some items but the quality is not the same as in other retailers. The same is true for the athletic shoes with name brands made of cardboard thin material. Actually I'm very disappointed at the designer downgrading there products to sell at rock bottom prices. The tops are not washable because they crinkle up like a piece of tissue paper and can't be ironed out because the material is too thin. Oh and I tried the beauty salon in the Carson, CA store and they wrecked my hair, tried several times to get the color right and I had to pay, the last time the manager turned me into a dark almost black hair and I started as medium brown going to light or gold brown no red. It was a disaster and I have had to spend another $200 to get in right. ...and Lakewood,CA is about the same. Resolved: Jcpenney - Very Unprofessional!

I've been working for Jcpenney for three years never had a complaint about any customers until the new manager of the salon came in and treated me terrible I stood up to her and ever since she always gave me the ugly eye and got rid of me by moving me to another department because I didn't have the "personality" when I've been working there longer than she has. I will never return to that place called salon, there is so much un-professionalism and favoritism it's not a good place to work at because if they don't like you they will make you feel belittled and that you're not good enough. So that store has a lot of flaws specially because the store manager lets herself be manipulated by everyone so she can make her managers happy when she doesn't even think of her workers feelings.
