Bad customer service from start to finish

called customer service to cancel my online order, I was told I had half an hour after order was placed to cancel it. What? Tried to cancel one hour later. Went to return it I was the first in line while the two women at customer service talked about the money in the drawer 10 minutes later I'm still standing there. The lady finally started to take my item back and could not figure out how to do it.poor customer service, it was like I wasn't there. She was really confused on what to do. never go again

User's recommendation: Shop elsewhere. We'll never shop again at JCPenney.

My 11.00 I paid 44.82. I don't expect the sales tax of 1.82 but there is adjustment of 11.00 for something, nothing is listed next to it except"adjustment"

Package going to wrong address

Package sent to wrong address and they won't help me! Sent 3 packages and they sent me to UPS. UPS, said only the sender can charge the address. This is horrible customer service.

Problem with return

I purchased a dress paid 75.00 less my rewards I have misplaced my receipt but because I used my rewards using my phone number .this should be on file I tried to tell clerk to look up my phone number she said sorry I can only hive you 14.00 dollars back , the dress was still on the floor for 75.00

Order

There were several charges pending on account but the order kept cancelling. Come to find out that the order i was trying to place had been discontinued but was still showing up as if it could be purchased.

User's recommendation: find out if the item is really a sale or discontinued item.

Expiring rewards

JC Penney's will not change their decision. Rewards were lost in spite of them being out of stock in their stores AND online, on the item we wanted to purchase.

None of my reward credit cards limit their points to a limited time so going forward I will no longer have any need for a department store card.

I will never step into another Penney's again. Seems the one thing they haven't learned is, they need me more than I need them.

I made a $1400 purchase of which I received $60.00 in rewards. The following month I went to purchase a Keurig coffee maker but they were out of stock. I went the following month to the 2 stores in my area but again the Keurig was out in both stores. I was not aware my rewards expired in 45 days as none of my other credit cards have points that expire. My complaint was they refused to restore the points even though they were out of stock. I guess it's my fault, as I probably never read the "terms". Hopefully this will alert others to use their points rapidly. even though they were out of stock.

its my fault do they need to make certain people need to know how quickly the rewards expire.

Almost Resolved

I contacted Penney and paid $85 to have the desk I intended to return picked up. They never called to schedule the pick up so I had to call yet again. They finally came on Friday, and I'm waiting (and hoping) I'll get my refund soon.

Highly disappointed customer for foundry company big and tall T-shirts very extremely poor quality. After washing them a couple of times they got all wilted horrible I only use tied or gain laundry detergent never had a problem with your Older shirts

I order on line and it was supposed to been here 23 &;;;;;;;;;;;24 I have not received it yet so what can I do about my order cause at this point I would like to just go to the Actual store

I order a hat and a pair shorts for myself online for curbside pick up, I was notified that my order had been picked and ready for pick up. I get there and go to the app like I am instructed and the woman come with a bag and a box and after getting home the hat was correct, but the box had a dress in it. I made several calls and that was a waste of time they never answered, their auto-mated system sucks.

Bad Customer Service

I purchased a desk online. Horrible piece of junk that cost $402 - on sale! I could not assemble it and when a friend finally did, we found that the drawer fronts had fallen off, and it was just very poorly constructed. I called to return it and was told I'd have to pay about $600, which of course I declined to do. I finally called a second time and paid an additional $85 to have it picked up, which never happened. I had to call yet again and have been told again that I will get a call in the next 48 hours. We'll see
