i purchased a couch and two reclining chairs from JC penny's costing over $2,100.00 they are falling apart I have been calling since January to get them fixed still waiting. Every time I call I get excuses and the run around. Suppose to come today to fix and called and said the ONLY tech they have in the whole city of Las Vegas was hurt and they need to reschedule for another two weeks away. in the mean time I have three pieces of furniture all with the sides falling off. AND NO ONE FROM JC PENNY'S CARES.

Very disappointed with the womans clothes at your florida stor in Ocoee very poor quality looks like Walmart quality. what happen they look poorly made wrinkle etc etc. prices are not that great but I must say your associates are very helpful. I spoke to a associate that was working on the floor and express my concerns to her and she told me to put in a complaint. will go back to Macys or Ross or Marshalls rather pay a little more and get the quality I paid for.

I pay all of my credit card bills online, and have never encountered any problems. That is until I tried to pay my new JC Penny credit card. First problem, they had my social wrong. 1st phone call to customer service. It can't recognize me, then it can't recognize my bank, 2nd phone call to customer service, then it says technical difficulties. Then again with the difficulty recognizing me, I am signed in to the website and can see my balance!! I will pay my current bill and never use my JCP card again. Better get this fixed. Customers care about convenience.

I placed an order on nov 31 and didnt receive the product but got a bill from jc penny credit card for a bill. When discussed with customer service no one seems to know when the product would be delivered. I were requested to keep the positive attitude and pray the god for product delivery. Even now, after nearly three months no one knows where and when the product will be delivered. No one seems to be bothered about the customer and the waiting times. Store people says, once the order was placed they cant do anything.

Ban was removed after speaking to store manager

On 12/10/2015 I Ordered a ring from jcpenny jewelry dept. for Christmas I received it on 1/12/2016 it was a mothers ring and had wrong stones in after contacting customer service they told me to return it to store and they would order a new ring.

This order would be expedited which it was no so on 1/28/2016 still no ring told it wouldn't be in here at the soonest next week after spending 62 min on phone they said they could cancel the order and refund my money in 3-5 business days I told I want my money refund now and that I had waited long enough for them to correct mistake. Customer service told me to contact the store and see if I could get a cash refund so I called the store asked for the manager at 7:28 pm spoke to a manager she told she could not authorize that and would have to be store manager that did that. I was on the phone with my local jcpenny for 7 min that including all the transfer and hold time I spoke asst manager or shift manager for a total of 4-5 min at max. She informed me the store manager would be in at 10am and to bring in paper work and speak to him then.

So I show up at 9:55 am sitting in truck waiting for store to open when a police officer walks up to my car and asked am I the gentleman here for a return I stated yes and asked why the police where there. I was informed the manager felt threatened and felt law enforcement need to be there. After speaking to asst manager she told me that I cussed here out which is complete false and she was scared mind you I never made 1 threat or any thing that just wanted my money back and to not do business with there jewelry dept ever again.

I was told by the officer I was now banned from Logansport Indiana Jcpenny. I felt like a criminal I am upstanding member of my community with no criminal record to be treated this way show the lack of customer service ability and lies they will tell when they I confronted about something they messed up

Shopped at JCPenny today for the first time in over 10years and I can see exactly why I stopped shopping there. They treat vets like nothing and on top of that give them a pathetic 1% discount off their purchases.

They didn't even greet me when I came in.

I will never shop here again... In fact I'm returning the purchase I've made thankfully there's other stores around here that are Veteran friendly!

Since when does being a vet equal free things??? You chose to be in the forces, nobody held a gun to your head.

My boyfriend is a wounded veteran and he would NEVER & has never tried to get free things because of that.

He says he served our country as HIS choice & would never abuse his status. I truly respect vets like my boyfriend who are the TRUE men of our country!

first of all who says only vets should get a discount? is that why you joined in the first place to one day save a measly 10% off retailers prices?

I mean jeez who says your life is any more important than say a firefighter or policeofficer or any other number of equally dangerous jobs.

should they get a 10% discount also?

where would you draw the line?

and btw it was obviously a mistake. you could have gone back to the service desk there and brought it up and asked it be corrected and if they were smart they'd have fixed it.

that being said though again , service does NOT entitle you to 10% off purchases just because you served. it's something many retailers offer those in the armed forces as a small way of thanking them for their service but they are NOT required to give it so in closing, while I thank you for your service please do me a favor, get off your *** soap box of pity for not saing a lousy $3+ and seek some help.

Although it's not a requirement it is nice to receive!!! But it's people like you, who judge others for things deemed important to them!

And no that isn't why I joined! I joined to ensure *** like you who hide behind a computer enjoy the freedom of speech! All I'm simply saying is if it's going to be given then give it! Don't short someone something you're agreeing to give!

And no it wasn't a mistake, spoke to management to see how that works and according to him it's correct.

But its people like you who gets under my skin, and I bet you haven't spent not 1 day in danger or in service. Next time you want to give someone else ***, step in their shoes and see if you could understand how they feel...

the point is ......***........a 1% discount is a mockery of veterans..............the standard appears to be 10%.......so by giving a 1% discount to vets is like kicking them in the nuts.................if they were not trying to send a message to vets......then they would not give a discount to any of them..........station casinos is the same way........they raise the flag print up all the notices and then tell the vets to bend over................

I am Pissed off about JC Penny not having my gift for my wife this Christmas they did not have any Estée Lauder Muse Le Rouge Trio Gift Set and were not running any advertisements so I had to go to Belk. I like shopping a J C Penny but, lately they have not had what I am looking for and I am forced to look online or to elsewhere to find the products I am looking for I suggest J C Penny start stocking more products and get with it otherwise they will loose my business and will probably go out of business. I have been shopping at J c Penny for 30 years and have seen a decline of product lines in the last 10 years and I am a pissed off consumer.

My husband and I ordered a mattress set on Nov 27th and we recieved confirmation and money was taken out of our account on Dec 4th stating that the items were shipped. A week went by and no phone call or email, so I called custo.er service who indicated that the delivery service should contact us within three business days (it was a Thursday so we at least expected a call on Wednesday). When Wednesday came and went I called back again (at this point I knew we would not be getting our bed by this Christmas) and the representative indicated that the items could not be found in the warehouse and that the delivery service would have to do a search for the items. She said to call back the next day for an update and I did but I decided to talk to a supervisor. He indicated that I should not have waited that long and he would investigated what is going on. By this time it is December 23rd, almost a month and still no bed and no answers. We will not only ask for refund but plan to file a complaint and warn otbers about how horrible this company is with furniture delivery service..hey get another delivery service people!

Update: I did write my attorney general and they did send a letter to the company and sent my a copy of their reply. It was a total lie!

That mentioned how they tried to call me and the phone was disconnected and I could get in contact with a manager (left her name) blah blah blah. Of course I called and the person was not there and left a message with my phone number and email address. Guess what? She never called me back!

Big surprise! So at the moment no furniture from JC Penney department store ever!

I just spent an hour waiting for a shopping cart at the Redlands JCP. As a handicapped person it's a necessity, not a luxury.

I tried shopping and pre-selecting my purchases, which would have totaled around $300 before tax. I asked for a manager, and all she could say was they have a shortage of carts. I was exhausted from walking and waiting for a cart by that point, and the line was over 20 customers long. Needless to say, I am sitting in the parking lot waiting for my pain medication to work so I can go spend my hard-saved Christmas gift money at a store that actually WANTS my business and ACTS like it.

P.S. Three trips to the fitting rooms there was no attendant nor even a rack available for unwanted items. The worst part though was not even a *** chair to sit on to put my shoes back on. Shame on you JCP.

Kmart has surpassed you in customer service. I never thought I'd see the day.

I'm so sympathetic to your plight. I too, am handicapped and have sometimes needed to use the carts, only to find people on them whom I question whether or not they're truly handicapped or kids (teenagers) racing them through the stores.

I blame management and security for these unfriendly shopping environments.

The best way of handling the situation is to contact corporate headquarters with your written complaint, listing store by address. If no satisfaction is received, spend your hard earned $$$ in a more customer friendly store.
