JCPenney - Management is errible to the employees at the ROSEDALE JCP in Roseville, Minnesota
Good companies value the employees, wanting them to succeed, it's called retention. JCP at ROSEDALE mall, Roseville MN = has a very hostile work environment that management has created.
Front line employees all respect each other and work together but management is on a power trip and it's scary and stressful! It is not a supportive environment, employees always feel under the microscope, management is all talk and no do, shoplifters are treated better then employees, employee chatter is about feeling set-up to fail, many employees like their jobs but get no support and never coaching by management or reminders on things to perform better. Employees are constantly reprimanded and demeaned. If someone higher up than site management would take a look at the number of people that leave and why they would see there are management issues and poor communication.
Employees need to sometimes get reminders or a warning on something if they want people to succeed. It is a very HOSTILE environment by management! JCP's new customer service focus has forgotten about their number one customer being the employees! JCP ROSEDALE, MN = FAILS as an employer !!!
It's very unfortunate because they could have a good thing going as the people are nice during the hiring process but then it is different right away the atmosphere and feeling changes. It's an unhealthy culture and hostile work environment.

Same issue at flower mound store. Manager likes to yell at employees that actually work hard.
I have seen it several times, but don't work there. Definitely makes me not want to shop there.
If you don't like working there, quit and find a different job. No matter where people work, they will manage to find something about their job to complain about.
